The Micanan Model PRO-GH Electric Door operator assembly is the size and capacity recommended by door manufacturers. It comes complete with electric and factory-wired motor controls, worm-gear reduction unit, solenoid operated brake, conduit and wiring from control to motor, and accessories required for proper operation.

Door preparation, miscellaneous or structural metal work, field electrical wiring, conduit, fuses and disconnect switches are in the scope of work of other divisions or trades.

The Motor Starter is an across-the-line, mechanically interlocked, magnetic reversing contractor. The motor starting device is enclosed in a NEMA 1 enclosure and integral with the operator. Control enclosures conform to ANSI/NEMA ICS6. A NEMA Type 1 OPEN/CLOSE/STOP control station is provided as standard equipment.

Frame and Reduction: Speed reduction is a worm-gear-in-oil-bath gear reducer. It provides a 45:1 speed reduction. The door drive utilizes #50 roller chain and sprockets. The operator is capable of driving the door at a speed of approximately 6 to 10 inches/sec.

Emergency Operation: The Model PRO-GH is equipped with an electrically interlocked floor level disconnect and universal chain hoist for manual operation. There is an Electric Solenoid Actuated Brake to stop the motor and hold the door in position.

The Limit Switches are fully adjustable, driven linear-type limit switch mechanisms that synchronize the operator with the door. Low friction limit nuts fitted on threaded steel shaft, rotating on iolite self-lubricating bronze bushings.

The Model PRO-GH is easy to install. Just install the motor in accordance with the Micanan Systems instructions and standards. Installation is in compliance with applicable federal, state and local regulations.

The Micanan System warrants its PRO-GH Electric Door Operator Assembly to be free of any defect in materials and workmanship for a period of two years. Approximate shipping weight is 110 lbs.
